For as long as any
of them could remember, ten old men made twice daily
visits to the local synagogue. Nothing ever changes,
Saul always arrives last and Moses’ pants are always
in danger of falling down. One day, there is a new visitor
to the synagogue. It is much shorter and much furrier
that then old men, it is a mouse! After unsuccessfully
trying to rid themselves of the mouse, the old men adopt
it and it becomes part of the family. Until the day
when the mouse has a family of her own… |

to hunt; he preferred to be complimented by the villagers.
Soon, everyone was hungry, and Kayâs ventured into the
woods again. He returned empty handed though. How will
Kayâs regain his gift and provide for his people?

break and TJ is looking forward to a summer of fun and
relaxation, that is, until his friend Seymour announces
that he's signed them up for a football team. TJ, who
is not the most athletically inclined young man, worries
about his endeavor, as well as the very real threat

their families and themselves.

A young
Chinese farmer named Bamboo meets and falls in love
with a pretty young woman named Ming. As a wedding gift
to her new husband, Ming presents Bamboo with some bamboo
seedlings, which they promptly plant in their garden.
Shortly after they marry, Bamboo journeys to Canada
in hopes of making money for his family. While he is
gone, Jin, his sister-in-law, treats Ming very badly;
she and her husband destroy the bamboo poles that Ming
and Bamboo had planted. Despite all this, Ming continues
to be kind and warm to her in-laws. But what will happen
as the time of Bamboo’s arrival draws near?

Sky
is a story based on the life of Georgia Salois, a Cree
Indian. After a heavy rain, the dam in Birch Creek broke,
and flooded the town. Everybody had to live in a nearby
town’s high school gym. The Salois family were happy
to be safe, but encountered discrimination. Luckily,
the family was able to move out of the gym and live
with a relative. Georgia found herself a friend; a young
foal named Sky. |

TJ Barnes’
Gran arrives at TJ's house one morning carrying a big
box for TJ. In the box are all the necessary supplies
to build a functional model rocket. With the school
Science Fair approaching, TJ decides to use the rocket
as his project. Along the way though, TJ gets sidetracked... |

While cleaning
out a kitchen cupboard, a young girl and her dad find
some old potatoes. The little girl is wary of them because
they have sprouted “eyes.” Instead of throwing them
out, her father suggests that the two of them plant
the old potatoes. Follow the young girl and her father
as the seasons change and their new potatoes grow. |

Morgan
and her little sister Josie were drawing with chalk
on the sidewalk in front of their house. Josie drew
some flowers and she decided that they were so beautiful,
she jumped right in the picture to pick them. The trouble
however is that everything else Josie drew came alive!
A ferocious lion came to life and was chasing Josie!
Her sister, her parents and her neighbours rushed to
draw more pictures to save Josie from the lion and all
the other hazards created by the rest of the drawings. |

climbs Little Mountain and starts to dig. Instead of
gold, all he finds are rocks. Old Joe yells "Rocks!".
From below comes the response, "Who wants rocks?"
