| C.C. Humphreys
is a third generation actor and writer, and equally comfortable
in either milieu. His screen career has included turns in
such shows as "Highlander - The Series," "Coronation Street,"
"Silent Witness" and "First Wave," while onstage he has
played roles such as Hamlet, Oberon and Zastrozzi. He has
penned three plays, and his background as a schoolboy fencing
champion and later fight choreographer inspired him to turn
his hand to the swashbuckling historical fiction that has
won him a name as a novelist. Chris happily admits that
Jack Absolute, the witty hero of his latest series, is his
own fantasy alter-ego - featured most recently in The
Blooding of Jack Absolute. |
