| Natale Ghent
is an award-winning journalist and the author of the acclaimed
novel No Small Thing, which was nominated for the
Silver Birch Award, rated a Top Ten Spring Book Pick by
The Globe and Mail and shortlisted for the Canadian
Library Association's Book of the Year for Children Award.
Her first novel, Piper, was chosen for several
"best of" lists, including Our Choice 2001, the Canadian
Children's Book Centre's annual guide to children's literature,
and the Pennsylvania School Library Association's Young
Adult Top Forty. Natale currently lives with her family
in Toronto; she brings All the Way Home, the sequel
to No Small Thing, to this year's WordFest.
