Larry Verstraete (Can)
Larry Verstraete is a teacher with thirty years' experience and a well-known author who has been bringing the fascinating world of science alive for teens since the early Nineties. He divides his time between his writing and visits to schools and libraries across the country, where he is in high demand as a guest speaker and workshop facilitator. His sixth and latest book is Lost Treasures, a collection of more than eighty real-life stories - detailed with photographs and illustrations - about treasure hunters who, either through fierce determination or just plain luck, found fabulous artifacts of all kinds that many others had missed. Larry currently lives and writes in Winnipeg.
