Marty Chan (Can)

Marty Chan is a dramatist, screenwriter, humorist and author. His novel, The Mystery of the Frozen Brains won the Edmonton Book Prize and The Mystery of the Graffiti Ghoul was shortlisted for the 2007 Manitoba Young Readers’ Choice Awards and the 2007 Arthur Ellis Crime Writers of Canada Award in the Best Juvenile category. Chan is a regular contributor to the Edmonton Journal and his plays have been produced across Canada and in New York. Chan is the co-creator of The Forbidden Phoenix, a martial arts musical. The Mystery of the Mad Science Teacher is the lastest in his Mystery Series.

Marty and Remi are enjoying their last days of summer vacation. Things turn sour when their good friend, and object of both of their affections Trina, has her bike stolen, kicking off a series of mysterious disappearances. Mr. E, the school’s new science teacher, quickly suspects that the two boys are up to no good. When everybody is pointing the finger at Marty, he and his best friend have to find out who is behind the crime spree.
